The Easter holidays are now upon us and we have had a really busy term.  The children have been looking at "things that grow" planting their own seeds and looking at the Spring flowers and buds on our Wellie Walks including doing our own planting at the Cowleaze Meadow.

We were lucky enough to find swans and ducks on the pond at Wash Cross on our walk one week and found plenty of puddles and got very wet!  "Animals we find in our garden" has been another focus and we enjoyed going on a bug hunt and looking closely at them through a magnifying glass then making some of our own out of clay and playdough and have painted some very colourful butterflies and caterpillars.  

We will be starting our regular visits to the village school after Easter, but the children have already been visiting showing the school children their books they made during their favourite book week.  Also joining in with the school children's food week was great fun as we got to help the older children make lunch and eat it!
 
Thank you to all who supported our Wine and Wisdom evening, it was another great success, the village hall was packed to capacity.  Well done to everyone that took part and to all the parents who helped prepare for the event and those that helped during the evening itself.
