We are holding the following family event at Cowleaze Meadow on the afternoon/early evening of Saturday 4th May as part of our fundraising events for the village for 2013.

This event “Mayhem in May”, will start at 3pm and finish at 8pm

3-4pm Country dancing by children of Shepton school, a teddybear treasure hunt & teddybears picnic for the little children. 4-6pm “Drum west” drumming workshop for anyone wanting to have a go at drumming! (same people who came for Jubilee weekend) 6-8pm Live Music by duo “US”

Everyone is welcome to come along – please bring your own chairs and picnics!

Steven from Willows Deli will be selling produce from 3-5pm. Parish plan BBQ will run from 5pm until 8pm, selling burgers and sausages. Bar will also be available throughout the whole event.

As usual though we do need some help!

Much appreciate to hear from anyone who can help us with any of the following!

a) setting up late morning – putting up gazebos and putting tables and chairs in place b) do a stint on the BBQ or bar c) help to take gazebos down and get equipment back to the hall. If you could let me or any of the events team know, it would be a huge help!
